It's Snowcoming Week at CLHS this week and this group is all smiles about it! Thank you to Student Council and advisor Mrs. Stomack, for all of the planning for this week's events! #PioneerPRIDE
We want to thank MDE Deputy Superintendent Dr. Michele Harmala for visiting Croswell-Lexington Community Schools on Wednesday. She toured the district and met with groups of students, including the High School Student Representative Congress group, gathering feedback on what motivates them to learn and ideas about what they feel would enhance their educational experience. She observed middle school students learning in Mr. Tallmadge’s new Project Lead the Way class, Magic of Electrons. This class emphasizes project-based learning and the application of cross curricular thinking to solve real world problems. Dr. Harmala also brought a favorite book, "Bringing the Rain to Kapiti Plain", to read to Mrs. Adams’ first grade class at Frostick and Mrs. Sullivan’s third grade class at Meyer. We appreciate the time Dr. Harmala spent in the district learning about Cros-Lex!
Kudos to CLHS National Honor Society and their advisor, Mrs. Bombard, for another very successful blood drive today! #PioneersAreLeaders

We want to share a sincere thank you to the Board of Education for their service and dedication to the students, staff, and community of Croswell-Lexington as we celebrate School Board Recognition Month. Even though we are making a special effort during January to show appreciation for our school board members, we recognize their contributions reflect a year-round effort on their part. School boards are tasked with making decisions that can sometimes be quite difficult or require sifting through a great deal of information. They contribute hundreds of hours each year serving the district. To honor the board members, some of their favorite childhood books are being donated to our school libraries in their honor.
