
"Arrive Alive" Event: CLHS SADD and Advisor Michelle Smith partnered with the Sanilac County Sheriff's Office to bring this event to our upperclassmen today and tomorrow for education on the dangers of driving intoxicated. Juniors and Seniors were able to use a simulator as well as participate in a sobriety test demonstration. Thank you to all of the deputies that helped with this event! Stay safe, Pioneers. Superintendent Colette Moody, HS Principal Lisa Burns, and HS Athletic Director Jeff Kosal had the privilege of attending the BWAC All-Academic Luncheon with some of our top scholars and scholar-athletes on Thursday. This annual event recognizes the top 5 scholars from each high school in the BWAC based on a formula using their unweighted GPA from core classes as well as their SAT score. Additionally, two scholar-athletes from each high school in the BWAC are recognized based on academic merit and athletic success. Congratulations to the seven CLHS honorees pictured below. Left to Right: Scholar-athlete Noah Jackson, top scholars Blake Newton, Eva Thompson, Savannah Krampits, and Carly Old, scholar-athlete Brynn Hurley, and top scholar Emma King. Each student received a certificate as well as a medal to wear at graduation. Congratulations to all!


Ms. Fritz, Mrs. Smith, and students in the Life Skills class took a field trip to Frankenmuth to the Pioneer museum on Thursday. Looks like great weather and a great time!
