Mrs. O’Vell was nominated for being an outstanding educator at Croswell-Lexington for 34 years! She makes connections with her students and attends many school events to show her support - band concerts, sporting events, NHS inductions, drama productions. Mrs. O’Vell is a well-loved teacher and colleague, and is always willing to lend a hand whenever she is needed. She is a champion for both students and staff!

Students in Ms. Toton's Financial Literacy class are given the opportunity to experience real-life events without the pressure of losing everything. Students apply for jobs within the classroom, pay bills such as rent and electricity, make decisions like what type of insurance to get, etc. If they budget their money correctly, they are able to purchase items donated from the community with their classroom money.
