There will be a permission slip for the Meyer Cross Country Club in your child's Friday Folder this week. If your child is interested, you must return the permission slip no later than Tuesday, September 10th. The permission slip includes the details for the club. This year we have an exciting new program starting. Every student will have the chance to pick out a brand new book for their birthday. If your student has a summer birthday, don’t worry we have that covered. Summer birthday kiddos will pick a book on their half birthday. We are thrilled to be able to continue our goal of promoting the joy of reading. 💙

Teachers and staff have been working hard to set up classrooms and have everything ready for a great school year. Tomorrow marks the first official day for teachers and staff. We look forward to see everyone at the Meyer Open House on Tuesday, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm. 💙
Meyer Family Back-to-School Update: Teacher assignments have been sent to families by mail as of 8/14. Families and students in Grades K-4 are invited to attend the Meyer Open House and Curriculum Night on Tuesday, 8/20, from 4:00-6:00 P.M. Our first day of school is Monday, 8/26. We are excited to welcome all of our students back to school and look forward to a year filled with fun and learning!
As you are out school shopping, don’t forget your student’s school supply list. 💙

We are at to our last summer meal distribution for children under 18. The last distribution will be on July 23, 2024. Meals must be picked up between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m; as we cannot serve meals after 1 p.m. We’ve received such positive feedback during this program and we appreciate your participation and support, Enjoy the rest of your summer!
We’re thrilled to invite you to our summer meal distribution for children under 18 on July 2, 2024. We’ve received such positive feedback from last Tuesday’s event and are eager to see you again. Please note that entry is via Peck Road through the Cros-Lex Middle School entrance. Follow the driveway around the building to the back parking lot and the pick-up area. Meals will be distributed at the same location as before, on the east side of Cros-Lex High School. Please remember, meals must be picked up between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., as we cannot serve meals after 1 p.m.
